About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted smoke grey, with darker charcoal threads and lighter grey flecks visible across the swatch. Its fine crosshatch has a dry, linen-like visual grain, while the absence of a printed motif keeps the surface calm and adaptable. At 300 gsm and 144 cm usable width, it offers a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. With zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, the design is straightforward to position, and the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use Martello Smoke to give a room a cool, grounded foundation: it works particularly well on a tailored sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtain where its charcoal depth can be balanced with warm timber, pale stone or soft ivory.
