Martello Thyme is a muted sage green textile with a softly weathered, crosshatched surface. Pale grey-green areas move across the weave, giving the colour a gently layered finish rather than a flat solid appearance.

About this fabric

At 300 gsm, Martello Thyme has the visual presence of a versatile mid-weight woven fabric, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery. Its 144 cm usable width provides practical coverage, while the 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats confirm that the surface is non-directional. The muted thyme tone sits between sage and grey-green, with lighter cloudy flecks and fine vertical and horizontal threads catching the light across the swatch. A standard length of 40 m supports larger furnishing projects using this calm, textured colourway.

How to use it

Pair Martello Thyme with warm timber, chalky neutrals and brushed metal to bring out its softened grey-green character. Its non-directional woven surface would suit a relaxed armchair, sofa, Roman blind or full-length curtain.

Use this softly weathered sage green on upholstery or curtains where a calm, textured green-grey finish is wanted.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
