Bracken Forest

Bracken Forest brings a fresh, hand-painted botanical study to an ivory ground, with fern fronds, delicate stems and leafy sprays arranged in varied greens. The open background gives the foliage room to breathe while the deeper green leaves add definition.

About this wallpaper

The visible colourway combines a warm cream-ivory background with soft sage, leafy mid-green and deeper forest green, creating a gently shaded woodland effect rather than a saturated block of colour. Ferns and slender botanical stems vary in scale across the design, with brush-like edges that retain the feel of a watercolour study. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and a 52 cm vertical pattern repeat, with no horizontal repeat specified. It is supplied in a standard 10.05 m length and has a listed weight of 150 gsm.

How to use it

Use the ivory-and-fern palette in a study, bedroom or garden-facing hallway, where its cooler green depths can sit alongside pale timber and woven natural textures. Pick out the darkest fronds with muted forest-green accessories while keeping surrounding finishes light to preserve the pattern’s airy ground.

Pair the layered fern greens with natural timber, warm ivory and other quiet botanical tones.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bracken Forest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
