About this fabric

The colour sits between warm brown and cool grey, creating the subdued, earthy tone suggested by its Otter name. Fine light and dark threads form an understated crosshatch across the surface, so the plain face has gentle tonal movement when viewed up close. At 300 gsm and 144 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight for upholstery or drapery. With 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats, the cloth reads continuously, and its standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use this weathered taupe-brown colourway to soften charcoal, stone and natural timber schemes, or pair it with warm neutrals for a quietly layered room. The restrained woven texture works equally well on upholstered seating and full-length curtains.

A versatile weathered taupe weave that brings quiet texture to upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
