Midori Putty

Midori Putty is a near-solid pale taupe-grey woven fabric with a softly muted, chalky appearance. Fine intersecting threads create a restrained crosshatch texture across the surface, adding depth without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

The light putty shade sits between warm grey and softened beige, with a quiet, low-contrast look that changes subtly as the weave catches the light. Its fine woven texture is visible across the full swatch, while the absence of a pattern repeat keeps the surface calm and continuous. With a 112gsm weight and a generous 297cm useable width, it is suited to long, softly falling drapery. The fabric has a standard length of 40m, with both vertical and horizontal pattern repeats recorded as 0cm.

How to use it

Use Midori Putty for full-height curtains or relaxed Roman blinds where its pale taupe-grey tone can soften brighter whites and sit comfortably beside natural timber, stone and warm neutral upholstery.

Use this pale putty taupe as a quiet drapery backdrop with warm whites, pale woods and soft grey upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
