Midori Oyster

Midori Oyster is a very pale oyster textile with a soft cream-grey cast and an understated woven surface. Its near-plain appearance is lifted by fine vertical and horizontal threads that catch the light gently across the swatch.

About this fabric

The fine, even weave gives this colourway a light, quiet character, with subtle tonal variation rather than a visible motif or strong pattern. At 112gsm, it is a lightweight cloth best suited to drapery, while the 297cm usable width allows generous curtain drops with minimal joining. Both pattern repeats are 0cm, confirming the plain construction, and the standard length is 40m. Oyster's restrained warmth keeps the surface softer than a bright white, while its faint grey cast prevents it from feeling yellow or heavy.

How to use it

Use Midori Oyster for full-length curtains in a calm bedroom, sitting room or light-filled dining space, pairing its soft cream-grey tone with natural timber, chalky walls and muted upholstery.

Use this pale oyster shade for quiet curtains where its fine weave can soften strong architectural lines.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
