About this fabric

The substantial 468 gsm construction makes Sezane Autumn particularly well suited to upholstery, with a firm woven handle visible in the tightly interlaced yarns. A small windowpane check is formed by pale vertical and horizontal lines, while taupe, cream, muted blue, brown and occasional olive threads create depth across the surface. The pattern repeats every 9.5 cm vertically and 8.6 cm horizontally, keeping the check clearly present without overwhelming a chair or sofa. It is supplied in a 137 cm usable width and a standard 30 m length.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe colourway on a tailored armchair, footstool or compact sofa where its cream grid can define the shape. Pair it with natural timber, warm ivory and muted blue accents to draw out the cooler flecks in the weave.

A substantial, tactile check in warm taupe, softened with cream lines and muted blue, brown and olive flecks.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sezane Autumn without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
