Midori Espresso

Midori FabricCCF0219-15

Midori Espresso has a deep, warm brown-grey tone with an understated woven surface. Fine lighter threads cross the ground irregularly, giving the plain colour a subtle, tactile depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke textile is supplied at a 297 cm usable width, making the broad cloth practical for full-height drapery. At 112 gsm, it has a light, workable handle suited to curtains and other window treatments rather than heavily padded upholstery. The close crosshatch weave visible in the swatch combines espresso, taupe and softened grey-brown threads, creating a gently weathered surface. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, so the fabric reads as an uninterrupted woven texture.

How to use it

Use Midori Espresso to bring warm brown-grey depth to a calm, tonal room, particularly as full-length curtains against cream, putty or dark timber finishes. Its quiet crosshatch texture adds interest without introducing a visible motif.

Use this softly textured espresso taupe for relaxed curtains, blinds or layered window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
