Knowsley Taupe

Manor House FabricCCF0068-05

Knowsley Taupe pairs a softly textured mushroom-taupe ground with slim, uneven vertical stripes in a deeper taupe shade. The subdued contrast gives the fabric a quietly tailored appearance while retaining the natural variation of the weave.

About this fabric

The woven surface shows fine slubbing and small tonal flecks across the taupe ground, with darker vertical bands that vary subtly in edge and density. Its 12 cm horizontal pattern repeat spaces the stripes evenly across the 137 cm usable width, while the vertical repeat is 0 cm. At 326 gsm, this is a substantial mid-weight cloth suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The standard length is 40 metres, providing practical continuity for larger projects.

How to use it

Use Knowsley Taupe to bring a warm, muted mushroom tone to a buttoned chair, bench or sofa, or run its vertical stripes through full-length curtains to add gentle height without a strong graphic contrast.

Use the warm taupe ground and uneven vertical stripes on upholstered seating, cushions or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
