Welbeck Orchid

Manor House FabricCCF0076-05

Welbeck Orchid pairs a warm cream ground with narrow, muted orchid-pink stripes. Its closely spaced vertical layout and softly tactile weave give the colourway a restrained, tailored character.

About this fabric

The fabric is visibly woven with fine vertical stripes, combining dusty orchid-pink lines with a gentle cream background rather than a high-contrast colour pairing. At 293gsm, it has a substantial mid-weight presence that suits both upholstery and drapery applications. The 137cm usable width and 3.8cm horizontal pattern repeat make the stripe straightforward to plan across a project, while the 0cm vertical repeat keeps the design running continuously from top to bottom. It is supplied in a standard 40m length.

How to use it

Use Welbeck Orchid to soften a cream or pale stone room with a cool, powdery pink accent, particularly on a tailored chair, roman blind or full-length curtain. Pair it with warm ivory and lightly weathered timber to let the fine stripe remain the focus.

The muted orchid and cream stripe brings a softly tailored, quietly tonal finish to upholstered seating, blinds or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Welbeck Orchid without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
