Woburn Duckegg

Manor House FabricCCF0077-04

Woburn Duckegg combines a softly textured oatmeal ground with cool duckegg-blue tracery that meanders vertically across the cloth. Its restrained contrast gives the pattern a calm, finely detailed presence rather than a bold graphic effect.

About this fabric

The fabric shows slender, sinuous lines formed from repeated blue-grey loop details, set against a pale natural-toned ground with a visible woven crosshatch texture. The muted duckegg shade reads cool and lightly faded, while the warmer ground adds depth and keeps the colourway from feeling stark. At 361gsm with a 137cm usable width, it has the substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery. The pattern measures 15.5cm vertically by 16.5cm horizontally, creating a rhythm that is noticeable without overwhelming a larger upholstered or curtained surface.

How to use it

Use Woburn Duckegg on an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme where its cool blue tracery can sit against ivory, oatmeal and pale grey. Warm timber and brushed metal will bring out the contrast between the natural ground and the cooler motif.

Pair the cool duckegg tracery with warm neutrals, chalky creams and softly weathered woods.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
