About this fabric

The close-up shows an indigo-blue ground crossed by fine pale and darker threads in a gently irregular, linen-like weave. At 300 gsm and 144 cm usable width, it has the substance of a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The surface reads as plain rather than patterned, with both vertical and horizontal pattern repeats recorded as 0 cm. Its lightly mottled texture softens the depth of the blue, while the woven threads catch the light with a restrained, non-glossy finish; the standard length is 40 metres.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo colourway to bring calm depth to an upholstered armchair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and warm taupe to balance its blue undertone, or layer it with deeper navy for a more enveloping room.

A versatile mid-weight blue weave for relaxed upholstery, curtains and other soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
