About this fabric

The 300gsm cloth has a close, tactile weave, with delicate vertical striations and understated cross-grain variation visible across the espresso ground. Its 144cm usable width makes it suitable for upholstery as well as drapery, while the 40m standard length supports larger projects. With a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, the surface reads as an all-over texture rather than a directional motif. The near-black depth of the brown gives the fabric a smart, grounded character without the flatness of a solid plain.

How to use it

Pair Martello Espresso with warm timber, aged brass and lighter neutral upholstery to balance its rich coffee depth. It can add visual weight to a tailored chair or create enveloping, quietly dramatic curtains.
