About this fabric

The visible weave combines fine horizontal and vertical irregularities, creating a tactile surface with subtle tonal variation rather than a printed motif. At 300 gsm, Martello Earth has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 144 cm usable width supports practical cutting, while the 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make it straightforward to work with. Supplied in a standard 40 m length, this colourway reads as a warm brown-grey neutral that becomes lighter across raised threads and deeper in the woven recesses.

How to use it

Pair Martello Earth with warm timber, aged metal and creamy textiles to bring out its brown undertone, or use it as a calm counterpoint to stronger rust, olive or charcoal accents. Its texture adds quiet depth to relaxed seating and full-length curtains without introducing a directional pattern.
