About this fabric

This 555gsm fabric has the substantial handle expected of an upholstery cloth, while its dense surface texture gives the espresso tone a soft, shadowed quality. Irregular cream-taupe streaks interrupt the brown ground in loose vertical runs rather than forming a sharply defined motif. The pattern measures 76.5cm vertically by 35cm horizontally, creating a gently directional effect across a chair, sofa or headboard. With a 138cm usable width and a 40m standard length, it is suited to coordinated upholstery projects requiring repeat planning.

How to use it

Use Aurora Espresso on a structured sofa or occasional chair where its dark brown base can anchor lighter timber, warm neutral walls and brushed metal accents. Position the cloth so its broken vertical marks contribute subtle height without making the scheme feel formal or overly patterned.

A substantial espresso-brown upholstery cloth that brings depth and distressed vertical texture to tailored seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
