Aurora Damson

Dimensions FabricCCF0056-03

Aurora Damson is a rich damson-purple textile with a softly distressed vertical surface. Pale taupe-beige breaks through the ground in irregular, weathered streaks, giving the colourway depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

At 555gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with a tactile woven face that visibly catches the light across its uneven striations. The deep purple ground shifts gently between plum and muted mauve, while the lighter flecks create a worn, mineral-like contrast. Its 76.5cm vertical pattern repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat organise the irregular markings into a softly elongated design. The 138cm usable width provides a practical format for upholstered furniture and panels.

How to use it

Pair Aurora Damson with warm taupe, aged ivory and dark wood to temper its saturated plum tone, or use it as a dramatic accent against soft neutral upholstery. The pale distressed markings also sit comfortably with aged brass and textural, natural finishes.

Use this weighty damson textile on upholstery where its distressed vertical texture can add depth against warm neutrals, taupe or aged brass.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
