About this fabric

At 555gsm, Aurora Rouge has the substantial visual presence expected of a weighty upholstery fabric, with a textured face that catches the light unevenly across the red ground. Its distressed vertical pattern combines fine broken lines with wider worn-looking passages, rather than a regular stripe. The fabric has a 138cm usable width, a 76.5cm vertical repeat and a 35cm horizontal repeat, so pattern placement should be considered carefully on larger upholstered pieces. A standard length of 40m is supplied.

How to use it

Use the intense crimson tone on a statement sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard, pairing it with chalky whites, warm timber and muted stone to let the pale distressed markings lift the composition. Its vertically weathered pattern also suits a tailored seat where the repeat can be aligned deliberately.
