About this fabric

The near-black ground is interrupted by irregular ivory and warm pale highlights, resembling distressed vertical brush marks rather than a uniform stripe. At 555 gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with enough visual depth for a statement chair, sofa or headboard. Its 138 cm usable width provides practical coverage, while the 76.5 cm vertical and 35 cm horizontal pattern repeats define a sizeable, deliberately irregular motif. The Ebony colourway reads dramatic and intimate, with the pale breaks preventing the dark surface from appearing flat.

How to use it

Pair Aurora Ebony with warm timber, aged brass and soft ivory accents to balance its near-black depth. It works particularly well on one prominent upholstered piece where the broken pale markings can be appreciated across the form.
