Equator Noir

Equinox 2 Fabric FabricCCF0666-04

Equator Noir is a densely woven charcoal-black fabric patterned with a fine, repeating diamond lattice. Muted taupe-grey threads soften the depth of the noir ground, giving the surface a subtly dimensional look.

About this fabric

The small interlocking diamonds create a precise trellis across the cloth, with charcoal-black definition and restrained taupe-grey highlights visible between the darker lines. Its tightly packed weave and 501gsm weight give Equator Noir a substantial, upholstery-suitable presence rather than a light, fluid drape. The fabric has a 138cm usable width and a 40m standard length, while the compact repeat measures 3cm vertically by 4.5cm horizontally. The dark, softly contrasted colourway reads smart and architectural without becoming stark.

How to use it

Use Equator Noir on a tailored sofa, occasional chair or dining seat where its charcoal depth can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged metal and taupe or stone upholstery accents to draw out the gentler tones in the lattice.

A substantial dark woven geometric for tailored upholstery, statement chairs and refined contemporary seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
