About this fabric

The ebony-black tone dominates the swatch, while narrow taupe channels define the undulating vertical motif and prevent the design from reading as flat black. At 514gsm, this is a substantial woven fabric with the visual weight suited to upholstery. Its pattern repeats every 31cm vertically and 17.5cm horizontally, creating a tightly connected rhythm of curving lines across a chair, sofa or headboard. The 138cm usable width and 40m standard length provide practical coverage for upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use Onda Ebony on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its black depth can anchor a room; pair it with warm taupe, stone or aged brass to pick up the softer lines within the pattern. Keep surrounding surfaces relatively calm so the directional waves remain the focus.
