About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke Equinox 2 fabric weighs 501gsm, making it a substantial choice for upholstery rather than a lightweight furnishing cloth. Its small geometric repeat forms closely packed diamonds, measuring 3cm vertically and 4.5cm horizontally. In this colourway, deep ruby red is layered with darker red-burgundy detailing, creating a warm, jewel-like finish that reads more intense in the denser areas of the weave. The 138cm usable width and 40m standard length support broad upholstery applications.

How to use it

Pair the deep ruby tone with charcoal, aged brass or warm walnut for a dramatic, tailored scheme. Its small-scale lattice is particularly effective on curved chairs and compact upholstered pieces where the rich colour can remain the focus.

Use the saturated ruby ground to bring depth to occasional chairs, dining seats or a statement sofa.
