About this fabric

At 513gsm, Moda Rouge has the substantial weight expected of an upholstery fabric, with a 138cm usable width for practical cutting. The design is formed from tightly arranged rounded bars, broken loops and short linear marks, creating a compact abstract texture rather than a regular geometric grid. Pale beige-grey glimpses sit within the deep red ground, catching the light across the raised-looking weave and preventing the colour from reading as flat. The pattern repeats over 41cm vertically and 35cm horizontally, while the standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use this warm, intense crimson on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, balancing its busy maze-like surface with quiet stone, tobacco or aged-wood finishes. The pale flecks make it easy to pick up softer neutrals without diluting the colour’s dramatic depth.
