Oxford Red

Edgeworth FabricCCF0021-02

Oxford Red pairs a warm, muted red stripe with a soft cream ground in a finely woven, tailored-looking design. The close vertical lines create a crisp rhythm while the subtle surface grain keeps the colour from appearing flat.

About this fabric

This 210gsm woven fabric has a 140cm usable width and a standard length of 40m, making it a versatile mid-weight for both upholstery and drapery. Its cream base is marked by slim oxford-red vertical stripes, with the red reading gently softened rather than bright or glossy. The fine woven texture is visible across the ground and stripes, adding quiet depth to the otherwise clean linear pattern. The vertical pattern repeat is 0cm, while the horizontal repeat is 7cm.

How to use it

Use Oxford Red to give a cream room a warm, tailored accent on dining-seat upholstery, cushions or relaxed curtains. Its narrow vertical stripe also suits Roman blinds and other applications where the line can run continuously through the design.

The warm red pinstripes bring tailored definition to a cream ground, working neatly on blinds, curtains and lightly used upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
