Maryland Denim
Edgeworth FabricCCF0560-02
Maryland Denim brings a cool, muted blue to Edgeworth’s fine vertical stripe, set against a warm ivory ground. The narrow lines vary subtly in width and waviness, giving the surface a softly drawn, tactile character.

About this fabric
The fabric is woven at 301gsm, with a 140cm usable width and a standard 40m length. Its closely spaced vertical stripes combine denim blue with ivory, pale grey and faint taupe threads, creating more depth than a simple two-colour stripe. The 9.3cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the design rhythmical while the 0cm vertical repeat allows the lines to run continuously. At this mid-weight, Maryland Denim is suited to both upholstery and drapery applications.
How to use it
Use Maryland Denim on a relaxed armchair, headboard or full-length curtain where its cool blue lines can sit alongside chalky ivory, weathered timber and soft grey upholstery. The restrained contrast keeps the stripe easy-going rather than nautical or formal.
Pair the cool denim stripes with ivory, pale timber and relaxed upholstery for a quietly coastal feel.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Maryland Denim without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
