Equinox 2 Fabric FabricCCF0290-02

Mercury Midnight brings a cool, deep blue-charcoal tone to a tightly packed geometric weave. Fine pale lines trace repeated angular paths across the surface, giving the swatch a crisp, graphic rhythm.

About this fabric

The dark midnight ground is threaded with ivory-grey linear markings that form small, interlocking maze-like motifs. Its close-scale pattern reads as textured from a distance, while the sharp zigzag detail becomes more apparent up close. At 330 gsm, this is a substantial woven suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The fabric has a 137 cm usable width, a 3 cm vertical repeat and a 2.8 cm horizontal repeat; the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use Mercury Midnight on a tailored armchair, headboard or neat Roman blind where its cool blue depth can anchor pale timber, soft grey and ivory furnishings. The compact repeat also suits larger upholstered pieces without creating an oversized graphic effect.

Use the cool midnight ground to sharpen pale upholstery, blinds or curtains in contemporary and tailored rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
