About this fabric

This 587gsm woven fabric has a useable width of 140.5cm, giving the cloth a notably weighty presence for upholstery. Across the surface, uneven blue strokes form staggered rectangular bands, while small variations in density and edge create a hand-drawn, layered effect. The pattern repeat measures 56cm vertically by 35cm horizontally, so the medium-scale design has enough rhythm to read clearly on a chair or sofa. With 80 threads per centimetre and a standard length of 30m, Muro Denim offers a closely constructed textile with a cool, softly contrasted finish.

How to use it

Use Muro Denim on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool denim-blue marks can sit against warm timber, ivory walls and natural woven accents. The cream ground helps balance the heavier 587gsm construction and keeps the overall look fresh rather than dark.

Use the cool denim-blue and cream contrast to bring relaxed pattern and substantial texture to upholstered seating.
