Orbit Midnight

Equinox 2 Fabric FabricCCF0298-04

Orbit Midnight pairs a deep midnight-blue ground with a fine ivory lattice, creating a crisp, closely patterned surface. The dense woven texture gives the colourway visual depth rather than a flat navy appearance.

About this fabric

The design is formed from small interlocking geometric shapes, with ivory lines standing clearly against the cool blue-black ground. Its 1.9cm vertical and 2cm horizontal pattern repeats create an even, compact rhythm across the cloth. At 401gsm, this is a substantial woven fabric well suited to upholstery, while the 137cm usable width and 40m standard length support practical project planning. The near-monochrome palette reads tailored and graphic, with the lighter yarn catching the surface and softening the depth of the midnight shade.

How to use it

Use Orbit Midnight on a statement armchair, dining seat or footstool where its small-scale ivory lattice can sharpen a scheme without overpowering it. Pair the cool midnight tone with pale timber, brushed metal or warm ivory upholstery details for contrast.

Use this cool midnight-and-ivory geometric weave to give upholstery a tailored, graphic finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Orbit Midnight without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
