Orbit Charcoal

Equinox 2 Fabric FabricCCF0298-01

Orbit Charcoal has a cool charcoal-grey woven ground, crossed by pale threads that form a tightly repeated pattern of linked diamonds and rounded motifs. The close-knit surface gives the colourway a quiet, tailored depth rather than a flat solid appearance.

About this fabric

This dense woven fabric combines a charcoal-grey base with lighter grey-white yarns, making the small geometric design read clearly while retaining a softened, tonal effect. The interlocking motifs have a compact 1.9 cm vertical repeat and 2 cm horizontal repeat, creating an even surface pattern across the cloth. At 401 gsm and 137 cm usable width, it has the substantial handle suited to upholstered furniture and structured seating. The standard length is 40 m, making it practical for larger upholstery schemes.

How to use it

Pair Orbit Charcoal with pale stone, chalk or cool grey plains to emphasise its lighter woven detail, or use it on a statement chair where the compact pattern can be appreciated at close range. Its cool depth also works well with blackened metal and dark timber in a smart, contemporary room.

Use this cool charcoal geometric weave to bring structured depth to contemporary upholstery and tailored seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Orbit Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
