About this fabric

The fabric is patterned with closely spaced vertical charcoal stripes, while the fine crosswise texture adds subtle movement rather than a flat printed appearance. Sutton Charcoal reads as a cool, deep grey softened by the pale ivory-toned ground, so the contrast is defined but not stark. At 214gsm and 140cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. The pattern has a 0cm vertical repeat and a 1cm horizontal repeat, with a standard length of 40m.

How to use it

Use Sutton Charcoal on a streamlined armchair, dining seat or full-length curtain where its cool grey tone can bring quiet structure. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal for a restrained contemporary scheme.
