Spencer Linen

Edgeworth FabricCCF0579-03

Spencer Linen has a pale ivory-beige ground crossed by exceptionally fine vertical lines, creating a quietly tailored surface rather than a bold decorative stripe. Its close linear texture gives the light colour gentle depth as the fabric catches the light.

About this fabric

The soft cream tone is lightly warmed by beige and fine greyish threads, giving this colourway a calm, natural-looking depth instead of a stark white appearance. Closely spaced vertical lines are visible across the face, with a very small 0.5 cm vertical repeat and 2 cm horizontal repeat. At 301 gsm and 140 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery. The standard length is 40 m, making it practical for coordinating larger schemes.

How to use it

Use Spencer Linen to brighten a relaxed sitting room through pale upholstered seating, or make full curtains where its ivory-beige ground can soften stronger timber, stone or painted tones. The fine vertical line adds understated structure without competing with patterned cushions or artwork.

A softly structured ivory-beige stripe that brings quiet definition to upholstery, curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
