About this fabric
The warm ivory background gives this colourway a softly aged, creamy appearance, while each bee is picked out in dark brown-black with a vivid golden-yellow stripe. The surface appears finely woven with a subtle texture rather than a plush pile, giving the small-scale print a crisp finish. At 228 gsm and 138 cm usable width, the fabric has a versatile mid-weight handle for upholstery and drapery applications. Its 16 cm vertical and 16.9 cm horizontal repeats keep the bee pattern rhythmical without making the ground feel busy.
How to use it
Use Abeja Ivory where its warm cream ground can brighten a room without the starkness of pure white, such as on a reading-chair cushion, roman blind or informal curtain. Echo the bees’ black-brown outlines in dark timber or ironwork, and pick up their yellow bands with small ochre accents.
The warm ivory ground and neatly spaced bee motifs suit relaxed upholstery, cushions and coordinated curtains.
