Azure Ochre

Eden FabricCCF0373-04

Azure Ochre pairs a richly saturated mustard-ochre ground with repeated charcoal dragonflies, creating a striking, graphic textile with a warm, earthy depth. The dark wing detailing remains crisp against the plain-looking background.

About this fabric

The 228gsm fabric has a 138cm usable width and a fine, even textile surface that allows the high-contrast dragonfly motif to remain the focus. Each repeat measures 31cm vertically by 33.8cm horizontally, spacing the insects across the ochre field with a balanced rhythm. Charcoal-black bodies and finely marked wings give the design a slightly atmospheric quality, while the yellow-brown ground keeps the overall impression warm rather than bright or citrusy. The standard length is 30m.

How to use it

Use Azure Ochre to add a warm focal note to a neutral room, particularly on full-length curtains or a patterned chair where the charcoal insects can be seen clearly. Pair the mustard tone with natural timber, warm ivory and deep charcoal accents.

The warm mustard ground and charcoal dragonflies bring graphic character to curtains, cushions and occasional upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Azure Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
