About this fabric

At 580gsm, this is a substantial textile best classified for upholstery, with enough visual and physical weight to suit a statement chair, headboard or sofa. Its warm gold ground shifts from caramel to bronze across the swatch, while the dark mottling creates smoky depth and prevents the colour from reading as bright or yellow. The irregular marbled effect has no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, so the surface can be positioned without matching a directional motif. The fabric has a useable width of 140cm and a standard length of 30m.

How to use it

Pair Crush Gold with dark timber, aged brass and espresso-brown leather to draw out its warm bronze depth. On a single armchair or occasional seat, the near-black markings give the antique-gold ground a dramatic, luxe presence.

Use this deep, burnished gold on statement upholstery where its dark marbling can read as a richly textured focal point.
