Maison Moss

Maison Fabric150

Maison Moss has a rich, burnished look, with a dark olive-gold surface that catches the light across the folds. The plain weave reads smooth and lustrous rather than flat, giving the colourway a deep, softly shaded finish.

About this fabric

This colourway is a warm, mossy antique gold with brown undertones, so the sheen shifts from muted bronze in the shadows to a brighter metallic glint on the creases. The surface shows a fine, tightly woven texture that helps the light pool and break across the fabric, emphasizing its fluid drape while still feeling substantial. It is made from 100% polyester and specified for heavy domestic use, with a high 80,000 Martindale result that supports upholstery on frequently used seating. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it is a practical choice where you want a luxe finish with everyday resilience.

How to use it

Use this moss-gold shade on a clean-lined chair, ottoman or banquette to bring warmth without relying on a bright colour. It works especially well with dark timber, aged brass and earthy greens, where the metallic undertone feels intentionally layered.

Pair with walnut, bronze or deep olive for a rich, grounded scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
