Maison Fabric158

Maison Ochre is a deep, burnished gold colourway with a soft, tactile surface that catches the light across the folds. Its warm ochre tone reads rich and enveloping rather than bright.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Maison Ochre is a heavy domestic plain with a strong 80,000 Martindale rating, making it a practical choice for busy seating. The swatch shows a dense, velvet-like texture with a subtle directional sheen, so the colour shifts from dark bronze in shadow to glowing amber on the highlights. This particular colourway has a saturated golden-brown depth that feels warmer and more grounded than a чистer yellow ochre, giving it a quietly luxurious look. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and professional dry clean in situ is recommended for care.

How to use it

Use Maison Ochre to soften a tailored sofa, occasional chair or ottoman, especially where the warm gold tone can glow against walnut, smoked oak or dark painted wood. It also works well as a statement textile in a scheme with rust, tobacco and deep green accents.

A warm ochre velvet-look that brings depth and richness to upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
