Maison Highland Green

Maison Fabric152

Maison Highland Green is a deep, velvety green with a shadowy finish that pools darker in the folds and catches lighter along the nap. The plain surface gives the colour plenty of depth without distraction.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and rated for heavy domestic use, Maison Highland Green is made to stand up well in everyday upholstery settings. Its 80,000 Martindale result underlines the hard-wearing nature of the cloth, while the back-coated BS5852 cigarette and match rating offers added reassurance. Visually, the colour reads as a rich forest green with almost black undertones, softened by a subtle sheen that appears when the fabric moves across the light. The surface has a smooth, close texture that gives the plain design a refined, quietly luxurious look.

How to use it

This shade works beautifully on a sofa, armchair or banquette where its dark green tone can anchor a room. Pair it with walnut, brass and warm neutrals to bring out the depth in the pile-like finish.

Use it for tailored seating or statement cushions where the dark green pile can read richly in low light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
