About this fabric

Safari Fern from the Serengeti Collection by Ashley Wilde is a 100% polyester fabric made in Spain, designed for General Domestic Upholstery & Drapes. The swatch shows a deep forest-green ground that lets the stylised giraffes, zebras, leopards and palms stand out in muted gold, olive and chalky cream. Its 140cm width, 25,000 rub test and substantial 546gsm weight make it a practical decorative fabric with enough body for everyday interiors. The pattern repeat is a large 70cm vertical by 69cm horizontal, which suits the bold scale of the scene and the layered placement of the motifs.

How to use it

This dark green colourway works well in rooms with walnut, rattan or painted black joinery, where the motif can feel collected and refined. Use it for statement chairs, cushions or curtains if you want a dense, atmospheric botanical look with a slight vintage edge.
