About this fabric

This plain fabric shows a deep forest green tone with small flecks of lighter yarn that soften the overall look and keep the colour from reading flat. The weave is visible but tight, giving it a refined, slightly dry handle that feels more tailored than glossy. With a width of 140cm approx and a composition of 59% viscose, 16% polyester, 15% cotton and 10% linen, it sits comfortably in the versatile mid-weight range. The lack of repeat makes it especially straightforward for upholstery panels, cushions and curtains where a calm, continuous surface is desirable.

How to use it

Its dark, mossy depth works well against oak, worn leather and painted joinery, especially in rooms that need a settled, intelligent green. Pair it with linen neutrals or brass details to lift the richness without losing the fabric’s understated character.

Use for tailored upholstery or elegant curtains when you want a grounded, heritage green.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
