About this fabric
This Stratford Natural colourway shows a warm, chalky beige with a subtle mottled weave that softens the surface and keeps the cloth looking lived-in rather than polished. The composition is 59% viscose, 16% polyester, 15% cotton and 10% linen, which helps explain the fabric’s lightly textured, slightly matte character. With a width of approximately 140cm and a repeat of vertical 0cm / horizontal 0cm, it is a straightforward plain that can be tailored cleanly across larger pieces. The tone sits between cream and stone, making it an especially adaptable neutral for interiors that need warmth without obvious colour. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BH are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use this beige on upholstered seating, loose covers or Roman blinds where you want a calm, light-reflective neutral. It pairs naturally with oak, limestone and muted greens, and keeps brighter accent colours feeling grounded.
A calm, versatile neutral that layers easily across classic and contemporary schemes.

Pairs well with
Stratford Natural is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
