About this fabric

This fabric is supplied at approximately 140cm wide and features a 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat, so the small-scale texture reads as a continuous ground rather than a patterned motif. The composition is 59% viscose, 16% polyester, 15% cotton and 10% linen, which gives the cloth its smooth but slightly nubby character. In this colourway, the cream sits between stone and ivory, with a faint warmth that stops it from looking stark. The weave catches the light softly, making it especially useful where a restrained, elegant surface is wanted. Performance features are not noted, and the fire code is √BH.

How to use it

Use Stratford Cream to soften tailored sofas, loose covers or padded dining chairs, where its calm cream tone will lift darker woods and brass. It also works well at the window as a refined, light-reflecting neutral that won’t feel cold.

A quietly tailored cream that works across classic upholstery and softened window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
