About this fabric

This Roscoe fabric from Colefax and Fowler is woven in 59% viscose, 16% polyester, 15% cotton and 10% linen, giving the cloth a crisp but gently softened handle. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a practical width for both upholstery and drapery projects. The swatch reads as a calm blue-grey with a subtle heathered depth, where the weave detail keeps the surface from looking flat. With a V 0cm / H 0cm approx repeat, it presents as a plain cloth rather than a patterned design, which suits a restrained interior scheme.

How to use it

Use this soft slate blue on a slim armchair, bench seat or relaxed curtains where the colour can sit quietly against oak, chalk white or brushed metal. Its muted tone gives rooms a composed, slightly coastal feel without becoming cold.

A muted blue-grey with an even weave that works neatly across tailored upholstery and soft drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
