About this fabric

Roscoe Sand from the Colefax and Fowler Roscoe collection is a 140cm-wide fabric in a blended composition of 49% viscose, 26% cotton, 15% polyester and 10% linen. The cloth shows fine horizontal striations and a slightly irregular weave that gives the surface movement without any obvious repeat, as the pattern is effectively zero repeat in both directions. Its colour sits in a warm beige range with muted golden-brown notes and a touch of greyed softness, so it feels calm rather than bright. The finish looks gently tactile and versatile, with enough substance for everyday interior use while still remaining refined.

How to use it

Use this sandy tone to soften darker joinery, walnut furniture or patterned cushions, where the subtle texture can add warmth without competing. It also works well as a quiet curtain or blind fabric in rooms that need a natural, grounded neutral.

A warm neutral that brings soft depth to upholstery and lined curtains alike.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
