Romilly FabricF4930-02

Buckton Beige is a softly woven plain with a calm, even surface and a warm beige cast. The tone sits light and refined, with just enough texture to keep it from reading flat.

About this fabric

This Romilly fabric by Colefax and Fowler has a fine, regular weave that gives the surface a gentle, cloth-like grain rather than a bold pattern. Its 34% linen, 33% viscose, 26% cotton and 7% polyester composition helps explain the balance of natural texture and smoother finish visible in the swatch. At approximately 139cm wide, it is a practical upholstery and drapery cloth for considered interiors. The Buckton Beige colourway reads as a pale, warm beige with a soft matte look and a quiet depth that catches the light subtly across the weave. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it presents as an unobtrusive plain that layers easily with wood, stone and linen textures.

How to use it

Use this beige on pared-back sofas, headboards or dining chairs where a light, tailored finish is wanted. It also suits relaxed curtains in rooms that need warmth without adding visual weight.

A quietly elegant beige that works well on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
