Buckton Green
Romilly FabricF4930-07
Buckton Green is a softly muted sage colourway with a finely textured, near-solid appearance. The small woven surface gives it a calm, tailored look rather than a bold decorative one.

About this fabric
This Buckton Green fabric from the Romilly collection by Colefax and Fowler has a subtle small-scale woven structure that reads almost plain from a distance, with tiny darker flecks giving it depth. The colour is a cool, softly greyed sage green, lifted slightly by the linen content and kept smooth by the viscose and cotton blend. At approximately 139cm wide, it is a practical fabric for many interior projects, and the composition of 34% linen, 33% viscose, 26% cotton and 7% polyester gives it a balanced handle. With repeat shown as V 0cm / H 0cm approx and no performance features noted, it is best appreciated for its refined texture and restrained colour rather than pattern.
How to use it
Use Buckton Green on an upholstered chair, banquette or cushions where its muted sage tone can soften timber, stone and cream schemes. It also pairs neatly with brass, walnut and chalky neutrals for a calm, contemporary country feel.
A quiet sage tone that works beautifully across upholstery and soft furnishings.

Pairs well with
Buckton Green is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
