About this fabric

Ashmore Sage is a substantial woven fabric with a pale sage-green base and a fine, broken chevron texture that creates gentle vertical movement across the surface. Subtle tonal variation in the weave gives this colourway a softly faded depth, while the 536gsm weight feels suitably robust for upholstery. It has a 137cm usable width and a 95cm vertical by 35cm horizontal pattern repeat, so the chevron alignment should be considered when cutting larger pieces. The standard length is 40m, and no performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this cool, muted sage on a tailored armchair, headboard or sofa, where its narrow chevron texture can add pattern without overwhelming a room. It sits especially well with chalky neutrals, pale timber and softly aged metal finishes.

Pair the muted sage tone with warm natural wood, oatmeal linen and aged brass for a quietly tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
