About this fabric

The fabric shows small outlined teardrop or floral forms arranged in a close, regular pattern, with dotted charcoal centres set against a lighter grey ground. The dark marks are softened by the textured weave, so the overall colour reads as layered charcoal rather than solid black. At 510 gsm, Dorset Charcoal has a substantial handle suited to upholstery applications. It has a 137 cm usable width, with a compact pattern repeat of 5.7 cm vertically and 5.8 cm horizontally.

How to use it

Use Dorset Charcoal on a neat armchair, sofa or dining seat to bring cool grey depth and a subtle geometric rhythm into a neutral room. Pair it with pale stone, chalk white or weathered wood to keep the small charcoal pattern crisp.
