About this fabric

At 536gsm, Ashmore Linen has a substantial woven handle suited to upholstery, while the restrained pattern remains easy to use across larger pieces. Fine chevron lines run vertically through the cloth, creating gentle rhythm without overpowering the light cream ground. The usable width is 137cm, with a 95cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat for pattern planning. Seen close up, the slightly irregular weave and tonal flecks keep this warm ivory colourway tactile and softly dimensional.

How to use it

Use Ashmore Linen on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where its warm ivory tone can brighten the room without the coolness of pure white. Pair it with pale oak, chalky walls and muted taupe accents to echo its understated woven texture.

Use this softly textured ivory upholstery to lighten tailored seating while retaining subtle geometric definition.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
