About this fabric

The muted denim-blue ground has a chalky, slightly greyed quality, while the pale cream motifs create a clear but softened contrast across the cloth. Fine dark flecks within the woven design add depth and help the small repeating pattern feel textured up close. With a substantial 510gsm weight, this fabric is well suited to upholstery. The pattern repeat is 5.7cm vertically and 5.8cm horizontally, with a 137cm usable width.

How to use it

Use Dorset Denim on a classic armchair, footstool or occasional sofa where its cool blue tone can be balanced with warm oak, linen, ivory and softly aged brass. The small cream motif also works well alongside quiet checks and natural woven textures.

Pair the cool denim ground with chalky neutrals and natural timber for a relaxed, heritage-inspired scheme.
