About this fabric

This substantial 510gsm woven fabric is centred on a soft duckegg blue that reads cool and lightly muted across the swatch. Repeating ivory, rounded geometric motifs create a small-scale pattern, with darker woven detail adding definition around each shape. The 5.7cm vertical and 5.8cm horizontal repeats keep the design closely ordered and suitable for upholstered pieces where a consistent pattern is wanted. Dorset Duckegg has a 137cm usable width and a standard 40m length.

How to use it

Use the cool duckegg-blue ground on an upholstered chair, bench or headboard, pairing it with ivory, chalk and pale grey accents to draw out the motif’s light contrast. Its small repeat can also sit comfortably across more compact upholstered forms without overwhelming the silhouette.
