About this fabric
The swatch presents an even navy ground with subtle charcoal variation, giving the surface more depth than a flat solid while remaining visually understated. A fine, closely woven texture is visible across the cloth, with no motif or printed pattern and a listed pattern repeat of 0 cm vertically and horizontally. At 290 gsm and 140 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric for upholstery or drapery. The standard length is 40 m, making this a practical choice when a continuous run of this dark, tailored colour is required.
How to use it
Use Highlander Navy to bring a cool, grounded note to a room through a neat upholstered chair, sofa or headboard, or use it for curtains where its charcoal depth will frame a window without introducing a visible pattern. Pair it with pale stone, warm timber or brushed metal to draw out the blue rather than making the room feel overly black.
A deep, cool navy with a subtle woven grain, versatile enough for tailored upholstery and full-length curtains.

Pairs well with
Highlander Navy is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
